  4. Kitri, Cindy, Ruchi,

The students loooved receiving the letters! Most of my students have not met American students before and are so curious about life in the USA. Indian culture is so rich in tradition that they also have a lot to share with us. Thank you for your responses!

  5. Ruchi,

I am so glad you are posting comments on the blog! Be sure to tell the students that you are from India each time you post, because they assume that everyone who posts are Americans. They might have questions for you. :)

Thanks Ruchi! Please keep encouraging the KV students to look at the blog and to post questions and comments!

  6. I can't believe how happy they are just to get our letters. I don't think any of us would get that exited although I am looking forward to getting my letter.

Wow. They got so excited! I wish I wrote a letter. I just didn't know what to write to them about America at the time. I would have liked to read about India and other cultures from someone native to India. The letter back from them would have been neat because you could hear their opinion on their homeland. It would have been good to hear it in their own words, to see what they thought about their culture and also other cultures. My teacher can say what her experience was like for a semester, but wouldn’t it be nice to hear about growing up in India is like.

if i were to go to india, i would like to get to know more about the indian people because 97% of the population of india are indians. I would like to know about their many soceities and culture. I would take a 3 month vacation to india because of its peacefull environment as well as the fun entertainment. the himalayas are the highest mountains in the world. visiting it would be a blast to many tourists. It is once said that just glaring at the himalayas would make your eyes shed to tears because of the beauty. I would also like to visit the taj mahal because i heard that it is very large and has alot to offer students. i would aslo like to see how huge the building is because its looks very small in pictures. i would like to visit some of the schools in india because i would like to get a view of how the edgucation is diferent compared to our edgucation in America.
