Prepping for Pen Pals

Miss Bailin and Miss Reynolds stayed up until 4a.m. sorting through around 300 letters for our students. We are so excited about their letter exchanges. We also sorted through the pictures and materials that were donated by Mercury Mine students. I am so proud of all of you. We are such a strong community and it feels amazing to see how our efforts affect others.

  5. I don't get why anybody is posting anything. They're missing out on all the fun! And it's a grade too!

  6. I love my monkey 5th graders! Who would have thought you would all be joined by your love of animals, especially monkeys. We may need to make a Supreme Monkey hat and whoever wears it gets to read aloud or share during discussions. Your postings keep giving me ideas. Wait for today's posts, you will see a lot more animals. When you see the animal posts, think about how these animals are used and viewed in teh United States v. India.

  8. Hi Ms. Bailin,
I bet you're pretty sleepy. I saw my pictures on the top of the pile. Say hi to my penpal for me. I wonder if we read the same type of comic books.
