Outstanding Indian student artwork

The students here are encouraged and supported in their arts programs. Expression through creative channels is valued in this school and the students' work reflects it. Here is a gallery of students' art projects. When we went on our tour of the school, here are the gorgeous pieces of student work that are displayed. We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to discuss some of the pieces with the artists: the students.

  1. Miss Bailin,
Is the artwork made by our penpals? If so, please tell them that they are amazing artists. I have never done anything like that! It's amazing!

    Your student,
    Haley Maurice

  5. Hi all! The student art work is from classes (what we call grades) 4th-12th. They come up with designs, make sketches, and use the paint in the classroom. It is pretty impressive. There paintings were not make by your pen pals. I was visiting a different school this day.

  10. Jane - I miss you too. I am glad that you liked my Sari. We basically played "dress up" while we were having dinner at one of the K.V. teachers from Miss Reynold's school. It was fun. Dinners in India last hours! We didn't get home until around 1:30a.m. and we had to get up at 6a.m. to teach the next day. It was intense.

Emily - The Saris have texture.

Dani - The students are 4th-12th grades. I miss you a lot. :) Our pen pals did not do this artwork.
